Despite the fact ERP systems have been around for over 20 years, many implementations fail to accomplish the stated goals or are complete failures. Lack of adequate staffing, poor project management or unrealistic expectations from senior management are often the root cause. Mike has written a definitive guide packed with tools and techniques to address all these issues. He brings many years of experience on numerous projects. The chapters describe how to create an optimal project plan, setting data standards, education and training framework, project monitoring and deployment. For anyone currently beginning or in the middle of an ERP implementation, the tools and recommendations in this book are essential.
The content is great. However, the Kindle version as advertised clearly indicates that highlighting is possible because it says “ Highlight, take notes, and search in the book”. However, if I understand correctly based on support forum feedback, because this Kindle edition does not have “enhanced typesetting” it is actually not possible to create highlights.
