screen brightness is less than expected
Good little computer to use for simple documents, tasks, emails, and browsing. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. No bells or whistles. No touch screen, no backlit keys. Worth the price paid. Exactly what I was expecting.
Bought this for my wife to replace her 14″ Acer cb 314 that was a little less than a year old. The Acer problems only got worse and when it started the black screen I could tell it was time to move on to something else. this 14″ Lenovo Chromebook is doing quite well. BTW: I have a 5 year old Acer 715 Chromebook that seems to be doing just as good as the day I bought it (except the C connection wiggles a bit) and my next one will likely be an Acer as well.
I have had this laptop for less than 6 months and now I have just a white screen. I will deal with Lenovo’s warranty system but I see a MAC in my future. I have had several chromebooks from different manufacturers and they have been getting progressively worse. I don’t know what the problem is but they are no longer worth the money.
This is a very handy little chrome book with much faster response than my old computer. I believe it is a good value for the money I paid for it. No touch screen, but the quality of the machine seems fine.
