I was looking for a native 2242 SSD to upgrade my Lenovo Legion Go and this fit the bill perfectly.2tb, single sided, it’s not the absolute fastest on the market but the trade off is it has brilliant thermal control. Really really pleased so far

This NVMe will fit yje HP Elitebook 840.However although it is recognized within Windows, Windows won’t boot from it.So I had to install the Windows on an 2,5″ SATA SSD.You could use it as an internal drive.Because the Elitebook 840 is not supported anymore, I don’t think HP will ever fix this.
This SSD doesn’t work with lenovo T480, but it works with E14 Gen 4 intel notebook. The connector interfaces are different.
別の価格比較サイトにも同じようなレビューを残していますが、内容を一部削りつつこちらにも。IdeaPad Slim 5i Gen 10(83HR0004JP)の搭載用に購入しました。M/Bに空きスロットが元々あるので初期搭載のSSDはそのままに増設出来ます。パソコン側の保証は多分切れてしまいますが、認識・使えました。ただ使えはしますが、空きスロットの固定用ネジの位置がズレているので一工夫必要です。また、初回組み込み時はUEFI(BIOS)の立ち上がりまで結構時間が掛かります。1回目で直ぐに立ち上がらなくとも、一呼吸おいて再起動しつつコーヒーを淹れられるくらいは待ちましょう。【読込速度】体感で言えばパソコンが1ランクアップしたような快適さです。気にしなくても良いレベルまで総書込み容量(TBW)が向上しているとは分かっているものの、ベンチマークソフトを走らせる気にはなれないので数値は分かりませんが・・・。【書込速度】持ち運びしていた1TBの2.5インチHDDをUSB3.0でパソコンに接続しフルコピーしましたが、あっという間にデータ移行が完了した感覚です。具体的な数値は分かりませんが、遅いと感じるようなことはありませんでした。【総評】M.2 2242の規格(インターフェースがPCI-Express Gen4)+サイズが価格を押し上げる格好ですが、先述の規格を満たすSSDの数は少ないため仕方の無い面もありそうです。また、Transcendは半導体の製造メーカでもあるので自社製造品を販売していると言う安心感もあります。ただし、組み込んだノートパソコンは元々挿入されているSSDもそうですがM.2 2242の規格より、少しだけ全長が長い製品を純正品として使っているようですので、固定には一工夫が要りました。(決して推奨しませんが私はアルミ箔を細長く折ったステーを即席で作って対処しました)なお、SSDとは直接関係ありませんが、Lenovoはメンテナンスマニュアル(英語版)を一般にも公開していますので、ある程度の自作知識と工具があれば交換や分解修理が出来ます。純正補修部品(交換部品)の販売もありますが1TBで約45,000円(25年1月現在)、512GBでも約32,000円(25年1月現在)ですので、この製品を含めて挑戦してみる価値はあると思います。
